Users outside Turkey acknowledge that local laws may apply and that disputes may be resolved through arbitration or mediation. For consumers in the European Union, the EU Consumer Rights Directive and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply. 

Disputes shall be subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey, and the courts of Istanbul shall have jurisdiction. However, in cases of international disputes, the parties agree to resort to international arbitration centers (such as ICC, LCIA) or mediation mechanisms. Users residing in the United States agree to resolve disputes through individual arbitration and waive participation in class action lawsuits. 

European Union residents can file complaints via the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. 

3. Personal Data Protection and Privacy 

Sour Mélange respects cultural and legal differences and will operate in compliance with the European Union (GDPR), the United States (CCPA), and other relevant national data privacy regulations. 

4. Sales and Consumer Rights 

All purchases made through Sour Mélange are subject to the Turkish Distance Sales Agreement Regulation, along with additional protections such as return and withdrawal rights applicable to the consumer’s country. Consumers in the European Union are entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period, while Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations apply to U.S. consumers. 

Users acknowledge that return policies may vary depending on the consumer laws of their country of residence. 

5. Product Resale Restrictions 

The resale of purchased products for commercial purposes is prohibited. However, in certain jurisdictions, such restrictions may be unenforceable.
